“Sanoa island was really something we were looking for to experience in our trip to Punta Cana, there are so many options with a big array of prices ranges that it was a little overwhelming making a decision on which tour we should book. We started our tour with a bad experience that could be taken as big, medium or little let down depending on your type of personality. Our initial group was like 15 people but at a meeting point we joined three + other groups and we were like 60-70 people at the end, we took close to one hour and a half waiting to the other groups to arrive, we found this uncomfortable. There were some people that were having payment disagreements with the guides and the whole meeting and pre-tour process in the embark zone was a little messy. That being said, once the tour started: It was the best experience in our whole trip to Punta Cana. The Natural Pool was amazing and definitely we should have stayed there all the time we lost on the meeting point. After that, visiting Sanoa island was epic and beautiful, the food offered was really good (I wasn’t expecting that) it was way better than the all inclusive food that we were having back in the hotel and the return trip in catamaran was really fun, with animators dancing and giving a really fun vibe with bevereges offered. At the end, the bad start faded away with th rest of the day because we are a couple who were looking for a nice beach and better food (we hated the food back in the hotel) and we got what we wanted. I’m giving this a 4 star review for this messy start but if you asked me if I would do it again, I would definitely do so. In fact, this will be the last time I book an all inclusive hotel (mine was a really expensive one). Next time will be Airbnb with trips to the pool and island, homemade food with local restaurants and enjoying a more and better quality of experience overall. ”
