“Had requested an English speaking guide but basically wasn’t guided by the person they sent. Spoke English if we asked questions, other than that the “guide” and the driver spoke Spanish to one another. Not sure if they were talking about us or just ignoring us. When we got to any stops they went their own way and left us in the hands of whatever guide was on site to fend for ourselves and try to avoid the requests for more money whether it be for tour, merchandise or tips. Enjoyed seeing the countryside but would have liked more information on what we were seeing and about the culture of Dominicans.”
