Macao Beach Buggy Safari & Cenote Swimming
You’ll drive through winding rural dirt tracks through plantations all the way to the famous Domitai Cave Park and a replica Taino village. Then you'll ride cross-country to a cenote cave for a swim in the Domitai Cave Park. These sinkholes with clear water are perfect for a cooling dip. As it’s a private venue, there are fewer crowds and vendors than at other cenotes. You’ll also get to savour some local specialities such as empanadas and pineapple wine. Next, drop by a recreated Taino village – they were the aborigines who lived on the island before Columbus arrived – where you’ll observe a folkloric show. You’ll learn all about the production of local crops which are so critical to the local economy – coconut oil, sugarcane, coffee and chocolate as well as the unique Dominican chocolate tea. You’ll try some of these products, along with the national tipple, mamajuana. Overall, a great close-up view of the Dominican countryside and local culture by a Terracross safari.

Traveler reviews
“"We did the Buggies tour and it was the best part of our trip to Punta Cana. Pure adrenaline and safe fun." I recommend it to 100”
“I made reservations for two couples for this excursion. When they came to pick us up, they said that there was only a reservation for one couple. On the website it says terri Ross for two, which means two people ride in the same vehicle terri Ross for one. We ordered two terracross for two, but they insisted we only ordered one terracross for two. The person who picked us up did not speak English, but after a long phone call, he let both couples ride the vehicle to the excursion. When we got there, they tried to separate us again. I had every sheet of paper that they had send me and after another long phone call to their office, they finally let us both go on the tour that we paid for. My best advice is to keep all paperwork and receipts and take them with you when you go on excursions in a foreign country especially.”
