“I booked directly through Next Ride's website after seeing several positive reviews and Reddit recommendations. Unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the worst travel decisions I've ever made. The airport pickup when we arrived wasn't great, but it was tolerable. The driver barely spoke to us, wasn't friendly, and when my fiancé tipped him, he didn't even acknowledge it or say thank you. Not exactly the warm welcome you'd expect, but at least we made it to the hotel safely. The real nightmare was the return transfer to the airport. I confirmed my pickup details with Next Ride on WhatsApp three separate times before our departure. They already had all of our information from the original booking, so there should have been absolutely no confusion about when and where we needed to be picked up. On the day of departure, we waited in the hotel lobby and no driver showed up. Most airport transfer services arrive a few minutes early, so when nobody was there even after the scheduled pickup time, I became concerned. Five minutes after the scheduled time, I contacted the company. After another ten minutes, I finally received a response saying they would contact the driver. About five minutes later, the driver called and told me he was still 15 minutes away. He ultimately arrived nearly 50 minutes after our scheduled pickup time. There was no apology, no sense of urgency, and the same indifferent attitude we experienced with the first driver. Because of this delay, we MISSED our flight. To make matters worse, I was pregnant and already traveling under a tight schedule. It's not as though I could sprint through the airport to make up for the time their driver cost us. When we contacted the company afterward to explain what happened and request some form of reimbursement, their response was essentially: "The driver came, so you still received the service." No, we didn't. I paid for a service that was supposed to pick us up and get us to the airport on time. Arriving 50 minutes late and causing customers to miss their flight is not fulfilling the service that was paid for. The complete lack of accountability afterward was honestly even more frustrating than the delay itself. Thankfully, I paid through PayPal and was protected by PayPal's buyer protection. If you're considering booking with Next Ride, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. When it comes to airport transportation, reliability is everything, and based on my experience, this company failed when it mattered most. Missing a flight because of a transportation provider is not a risk any traveler should have to take.”
