Traveler reviews
“There were two key reasons why this is a dreadful experience - firstly the level of upselling from the second you arrive which was both obvious (buy from our gift shop) to the more subtle (‘you have pina coladas when you finish’ said like it’s a statement and included in the price, which you later find are $20 each & not), through to the majority of time being spent posing for photos with the monkeys which whilst cute, is dragged out, filthy, and the prices are extortionate $30 per photo each, plus tax, plus a card fee…. The worst point however of this experience is the level of risk - there is a lack of hand washing facilities & where the are sinks there was no soap or hand gel, and when I washed off the dirt, urine and faeces that were on my arms, I was scratched. Trying to get a rabies vaccine in Bavaro is a nightmare, and despite a trip to the public hospital proved impossible, and now home I am now 2 out of 4 vaccines complete. Honestly this trip is not worth the risk to your health or the stress of the upsell.”
“Don’t wear nice clothes and bring a towel. The monkeys don’t have a problem relieving themselves on you.”

“The encounter with the monkeys was so much fun and educational! You were really able to get up the course in person with the monkeys and get to know about each every one of them. Brayan help us from check-in, to meeting the monkeys. Would definitely book again!”
