“I have been to Saona Island many times. I would always book the most affordable tour. Usually, $75. This time I picked the VIP Tour which was $140. All the literature described the tour as so much better than the value tours. WRONG! It’s the same thing. Don’t waste your money on an upsell. Same beaches, same loud music, same crammed boats all on one beach, same bad food. The worst part is that you are on high speed motorboat that hit each wave with such force your back, and all your muscles will be sore for 3 days.”
