Punta Cana Party Boat Hip Hop with Music and Open Bar pickup

“I would NEVER recommend Punta Go Hip Hop Boat Party to anyone visiting Punta Cana. What was supposed to be a fun excursion with friends turned into one of the worst, most chaotic, and unsafe experiences I’ve ever had. Let’s start with the transportation. We were instructed to be in our hotel lobby at 2:10 PM for a 2:30 PM pickup. Not only did our transportation never arrive, but we waited an ENTIRE HOUR while repeatedly contacting the owner. Each time, we were told the driver was “two minutes away.” That was clearly not the case. After becoming extremely frustrated, I personally got on the phone, demanded accountability, and requested a refund. Instead, the owner instructed us to take a taxi, which he eventually paid for upon our arrival. Now, let’s talk about the MAJOR safety concerns. By the time we arrived, the party boat had already departed. Rather than properly addressing the situation, we were placed on a small fishing boat to catch up with the party boat. The life jackets provided were NOT adequate. We were literally transported across open water without proper safety equipment. Had something happened, those of us who couldn’t swim could have been in serious danger. That alone should tell you everything you need to know about how little attention was given to our safety. The actual boat party wasn’t much better. The boat was overcrowded, disorganized, and nothing like the enjoyable experience we expected. The excursion was advertised as having an open bar, but we discovered that top-shelf liquor required an additional payment. Food was another $30 per person, and the presentation was extremely disappointing. Between the overcrowding, additional expenses, and complete lack of organization, the experience was not worth the money. And somehow, things got EVEN WORSE when we tried to leave. After the excursion, we were instructed to board a bus for transportation back. Once seated, another group approached us and began arguing about assigned seating, demanding that we move. What should have been a simple transportation arrangement escalated into a heated confrontation. At one point, SIX women attempted to physically attack me, and I had to defend myself to get out of the situation. Let that sink in. We paid for a vacation excursion and ended up in a situation where our physical safety was threatened. Eventually, we exited the bus, and the owner personally drove us back to our resort. While I acknowledge and appreciate that he provided transportation home and covered our earlier taxi fare, those gestures do not erase the complete failure in logistics, organization, communication, and guest safety throughout the experience. The entire excursion was a disaster from beginning to end. I travel to enjoy myself, create memories, and experience new places, NOT to argue about transportation, risk my life on an improperly equipped fishing boat, or defend myself against a group of people. My advice? SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BOOK ELSEWHERE. Punta Go Hip Hop Boat Party needs to seriously reevaluate its transportation coordination, safety procedures, crowd management, and overall customer experience. A vacation excursion should never leave paying customers feeling unsafe, disrespected, and completely disappointed. ZERO STARS if I could. Never again.”
