★★

“The Captain, and First Mate were great. Unfortunately great started and ended with them. After booking our fishing trip, I was informed that the transportation they use was not allowed on our resort and it took an hour to get to that determination. Thankfully, the resort was able get us to the front gate, and pick us up from the front gate. We were 'given' an interupter, which was not necessary for our Captain and First Mate. Our inturperter told us several times this was his first time on a fishing boat, he stated he has been on boats before just not fishing. He got sick, he was either in the bathroom, or puking over the side of the boat. He also tried to get us to 'buy in' on a business venture which I did not appreciate at all. At the end he asked for positive reviews, and openly asked for a tip. We are generous tippers for great experiences and service, he provided neither. We did tip our Captain and First Mate ! The water was really rough, and still we were able to bring in 5.5 fish. The half point is for the smallest fish I have ever pulled out of the ocean, he was about 4 inches long. Poor little guy only counts as half a catch. 3 of our party of 4 ended up sea sick due to the really rough water. And my review has nothing to do with that, as that was out of the Captains control. When I asked to call it a day early he asked if I was sure, and I said yeah, the rest of our group was misserable.”
