“Do NOT use ..they will tell you anything to have spend. We booked trip to Catalin island. We were picked up at correct time but ended up driving 2.5 hours after all the pick ups. We were told 1hr 10 mins maximum. All round 5 hours driving. Im on holiday I dont want to spend all day driving. I will never recommend these people . Be Warned people. Go elsewhere for your trips Very disappointed”

“It was absolutely awful, such a cheek! This guy told us it would be a one-hour drive, which was important to us because I get travel sick very easily, and it was actually a two-hour drive from our hotel.(Dreams Onyx) Punta Cana, then he said There was food and drink? No, there wasn't. Not a glass or cup of water, nothing at all. And the worst part was, the whole trip was a complete scam because the guy at the Seapro hotel ripped us off. They said the boat trip would be on a catamaran, but it was a plastic boat with no water. As I said, we wouldn't be taking a direct boat tour, unfortunately not. The catamaran trip was supposed to take two hours.A dive rest stop, we're back at the hotel... I recommend that you, when you see this review, it's true what I'm saying here. If you are considering a trip, book through TUI, but under no circumstances through Seapro.”

“The diving itself was fine. However the transportation to and from Catalina was a mess. Going there we changed vehicles twice and then were put back in the same vehicle we started in! (Wasted almost an hour of our day). We had lunch on the island (fine) but then mass confusion as to how we were to get back. They put about 40of us on a small boat and only 50% of the people were given life jackets (that’s all there were on board). The boat ride completely drenched us passengers and the operator refused to slow down. Diving good - transport terrible”

“We did two dives with the Catalina excursion, the wall and the aquarium. The dives were good. The instructor was good. The excursion overall is pricey compared to other diving shops (outside of DR) even with the Black Friday deal we got online. The team of instructors and masters did not socialize much with the guests but overall ensured a safe experience and did their job well. The dive equipment was in good condition. The island was nice to visit after the dives where you had food and beer. The bus is long to get to the excursion and we waited at a gas station for about 30minutes due to an accident on the road.”

“We booked our Catalina trip with Francois at Breathless. He works in the water sports office. I am a certified diver, but my husband is not. This trip allowed us to choose our own adventure which meant that I could see the wall and the aquarium (dive locations) while he was given a nice snorkel tour. If you like undersea adventure, I recommend going to Catalina. It takes two buses and a boat from Punta Cana, but is a great whole day excursion. Once you get to Catalina be prepared to say “no” a lot. There are vendors who can get pretty assertive. The beach on the island is lovely. It looks like there may be some nice snorkeling along a rock wall to the left of the dock, but we just hung in the shade. Also, there is a trail atop that cliff which looked like it may be a nice little walk out to the point. If I was to do anything differently, I would have stayed in La Romana instead of in Punta Cana - would have been closer to what my husband and I enjoy most.”
