Traveler reviews
“Drivers were courteous and on time with knowledge of the area. Shuttle comfortable but needs a little updating”
“The transportation service that this resort uses is called Nexus. We chose to go the less expensive route and took their shuttle instead of a private car. We paid $21 pp for a roundtrip fare to/from the Punta Cana airport. Due to storms causing flight delays/cancellations in the eastern United States, we chose to return to the states a day early. I went to the Nexus office at the resort to change my transportation to the airport. They told me that they had nothing to do with the scheduling of the transportation and that a current reservation could not be changed. I asked for a refund for my return trip and again, they said they had no authority nor way of giving a refund. It was frustrating to have representatives from the Nexus company right there not to be able to help. Their only solution was to get a taxi for $40. When we took our bags to the resort checkout, the cost for a taxi was $45. When we took the taxi, the cost was $50. The reason this company got a 3 rating was ... 1. Easy to make reservations on-line but no way of changing them afterwards. 2. I have to submit a report to the company to get my refund.”
